What a story he has! On a spring evening in 2004, we noticed a blue bird in a tree in the front yard.
The following evening, Chuck was dive bombed by this bird, who then sat in a nearby tree and chirped at us. We could tell he wanted to come to us, but was still too scared. Two nights later, he walked into Chuck's hand, and into our hearts.
Thankfully, no one answered the lost and found ad, so Beaker became ours.
Funny, we never had any thoughts of getting a bird, but now wonder how we ever lived without one!
