Somerhill Farm
Bluefaced Leicester Sheep, French and Satin Angora Rabbits
Entry for June 17, 2008

These are my first babies here since Emmitt was little.   They belong to Valhalla and Vendetta, a pair of fawn French Angoras.   From left to right:

Tort buck, fawn doe, fawn doe, cream doe.   The little cream is my favorite - besides being the most outgoing,   I've always wanted a cream, and have never gotten a good one.    Had a nice cream buck once, and then one day his ear dropped.  First dropped ear I've had, ever.  So maybe I shouldn't let her know how much I'd like to keep her.  :^)

You mean we have to pretend like we don't like her like we did with my tort doe and evan almighty?

I like the tort best, but I think I can see something in the face shape of the cream :) Are these in line with that project you are doing?

Nope, these guys are purebred French Angoras.
I don't have any fuzzy red crosses yet. I'm anxiously awaiting these 2 new litters to see if they develop wool. They are about 2.5 weeks old now, and I hope I'll be able to tell if any are wooly pretty soon.
