It was VERY windy yesterday and into the night from the remains of Hurricane Ike, but we got very little rain.   Lots of small branches down, but no damage to trees or buildings.  The chairs blew off the front porch! The lights flickered around 5PM, but thankfully, the electricity stayed on.  Not everyone was so lucky - some of the area schools are closed today due to power outages.
