I got some good news today.  One of the young 4-H members who has a pair of my red FA/NZ cross pairs told me their doe kindled yesterday with 8 red wigglers.   Our arrangement was that she could have the pair, and would repay me with my choice of one of the wooled offspring.   I'm really hoping for a GOOD red buck.  Of course, she and her family are very excited about the tiny new lives, and showed pictures of the kits and their nice, clean, warm nextbox.
